Who is Marcus?

Marcus Keon Knight (that’s me!) is a dynamic storyteller and connector, driven by faith and a passion for creating spaces where culture, creativity, and community meet. He uses his digital platforms to empower others in navigating adulthood, celebrating diverse narratives and embracing authenticity. At 25 years old, Marcus is committed to building a legacy that uplifts, inspires, and bridges gaps through genuine connection. His purpose is to leave an enduring impact that encourages others to live fully, dream boldly, and speak their whole story more proudly.

Ever since he was young, he has had a voice and has had a message of optimism and authenticity. In 2023, Marcus graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, one of the top business and music industry specialized schools and has served at his alma mater in a year-long fellowship, diving into higher education and strategic initiatives university-wide. He has served part-time as the Head of Digital Marketing for the Nashville Black Market, a creative community of Black entrepreneurs in Middle Tennessee and for a short season as a social media manager at Nashville marketing agency Wander Creative. He currently works as a digital marketing specialist at the Nashville Business Incubation Center and is an avid lover of all things digital marketing, social media, personal branding and human development. When he isn’t working on something, he’s a child in an adult’s body, watching 90s/00s cartoons or hanging out with friends and/or family.

Marcus As Of Late?

He was raised in a Christian household and taught early on values of acceptance, empathy, open-mindedness and challenge. Marcus is never afraid to send a smile or laugh your way, and brighten up your day. Before the global pandemic and the trials of 2020, Marcus was on track to be an entertainer, which in some ways he still gets to be today. But if the lockdown, COVID-19 and the racial uprising of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and so many others taught him anything, it was that it was about time to make a move. It was time to step out and share his experiences with the world. Since then, he has dived deeper into the world of social justice and mental health, teaching how Gen Z can be better allies, better caretakers, better stewards of what they have been given.

Brand Collaborations

I’ve had the pleasure and honor of working with companies and organizations that promote values of equity, innovation, and optimism. Whether it be an article feature or a full partnership, I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to engage different audiences and promote these amazing brands.
